Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to get a loan?

All you need is a valid Driver's License/ID. If you only have a passport you must provide us with a valid proof of address. In accordance with county law, if you are getting a loan or selling us any jewelry or precious metals, we will need two forms of ID. This could be a hunting/fishing license, a bank card or anything else with you name on it. And of course, we need something for us to loan you money on!

How does a pawn loan work?

Pawn loans are a quick and easy way to borrow money without a credit check or hassle. Loans are based on the value of your collateral, not your credit rating or pay schedule. Our pawn loan has a term length of 30 days, plus a 5 day grace period. If you cannot pay back your loan in full, including any applicable grace period, you can pay solely the interest owed and receive a renewal of 30 days to give you extra time. You may also choose to not return for your item and surrender your collateral. If you choose to not return for your item, it does not affect your credit in any way. We loan on a variety of items, including gold and diamond jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, tools, and more. Simply bring us an item of value, along with a valid photo ID and we’ll get you money in minutes after your loan is contracted.

How do we determine an item's worth?

We base pawn loan amounts on the value of your item. We determine this through its current secondhand value, its current condition and our ability to sell the item. We use all the research tools we have at our disposal to determine an item’s value and get you the most money we can. The appraisal process varies depending on the type of item – for example, jewelry is evaluated differently than a DVD player. We research the item’s retail value, its pre-owned market value dependent upon its condition.

What types of items do we take?

  • Firearms (pistols, revolvers, rifles and shotguns)
  • Gold and silver (scrap, jewelry and bullion)
  • Electronics (TV's, tablets, cell phones, game systems, speakers, laptops, etc.)
  • Instruments (guitars, basses, violins, woodwinds, pianos, etc.)
  • Tools (drills, air tools, sawzalls, impact drivers, chainsaws, blowers, etc.)
  • Other items of value
